How to distinguish the quality of stainless steel heating tube

The quality of stainless steel mainly depends on the difference in nickel content. Nickel is a high-quality corrosion-resistant element. In stainless steel, the combination with chromium further strengthens corrosion resistance and acid-base properties, but low-carbon nickel steel needs to obtain a pure austenite structure. The nickel content must reach 24 cents. Only when nickel contains 27 cents, the corrosion resistance of steel in certain media can be significantly changed. Therefore, for heating pipes, corrosion resistance and high temperature resistance can be selected from 800, 840 and 316l. 800 stainless steel pipes contain 30% nickel, 840 steel pipes contain 20% nickel, and 316l stainless steel pipes. The nickel content is 10%, however, if it is a bad 304 tube stainless steel only contains 8% nickel.

The advantages of stainless steel heating tubes: good heat resistance, dry burning resistance, and low cost. At present, there are many types of stainless steel heating pipes, and the price gap between various materials is large. The same is stainless steel, and their quality and performance are very different.

Therefore, stainless steel pipes used for heating need to be tested for their specific element content to eliminate secondary charging and purchase low-quality products at high prices.
